    Description

    Vintage Mid-Century ADA LUM Chinese Cloth Handmade Doll
    "Di Di" or "Little Brother" dressed in stunning coral silk brocade clothing and embroidered silk shoes
    Approx. 19"-20" tall
    His highly detailed outfit is a gorgeous shade of coral/deep peach, with floral brocade pattern and embroidered ribbon trims.
    His face is hand embroidered, signature five finger hands and stitched on ears.  Black yarn hair is in a braid atop of his head.
    He is stamped with the AN ORIGINAL ADA LUM DOLL stamp on his chest/belly and has the Ada Lum Hong Kong tag sewn in at his side.
    Dated from 1949-1960's.
    This doll is in excellent vintage condition.  He does have a mark at the back of his head near his hair and some discoloration on and around his ears (likely from oils on the hands while being stitched).  There is a pin sized lightly discolored spot on his left cheek, very minor.  His clothing is in wonderful condition! Shoes look great, just the very bottoms have some spotting.  Socks may be discolored?  Clothing and accessories appear to have never been removed.
