Beautifully detailed Edwardian black and white glass cameo pin. Since white glass is sandwiched onto black glass white is not a true white-white. Interesting piece as there is no metal setting/frame, rather the black glass
is
the frame with it's saw tooth tightly scalloped design on all four sides, rounded corners are faceted - white glass is beveled eight sided. Measurements/Details: 1 3/4" tall x 1 3/8" wide x 3/8" deep; very comfortable to wear, 14.6 grams; secure c-clasp. Not surprising due to age, there are tiny-small chips to the black glass fortunately most are on back and a small flake to white glass on front at top (see pictures). Superb detail to the intricate woman's profile including a wonderful chandelier earring - a lovely striking cameo for you to enjoy - thank you.
