Vintage Chinese / Japanese / Korean (?) Doll Gold Metallic Embroidered Silk Robe

Description

Not too familiar with this type of collectible.  I am told this is a Chinese opera doll, but I have no clue.  She stands about 13 inches tall.  Very detailed.
There is a slight green tint along the edge of the fabric.  The golden metallic fibers in the kimono have begun to tarnish.
No idea of the date of manufacture.
