Old Hollywood Style Back Door With wavy Glass 89 X 39.75. This is such a great back door . Theses doors were often used as kitchen side doors, utility room doors,and back doors. Mora of which have the top part glass and bottom part wood in either a single or multi panel style . They were referred to as old Hollywood style doors. This door was used as the back door leading out into the yard. This door is better than most due to its size .most vintage doors measure in at 28” and under . This oversized door measures in at a grand 39-3/4” to top it off this door still contains the original old wavy glass with subtle bubbles throughout. I can tell that at one Time the door contained the old vintage Hardware at the old block mortise lock that would fit into the door. Several doors throughout the years have been modified and updated with modern locking systems when the locks would malfunction for security reasons. It appears that this is what happened with this door I can see where it has been filled in and patched for a modern lock I also noticed on the exterior bottom it looks as though some possible patching and repainting but it is hard for me to tell exactly what it is underneath the paint. I also noticed a chip in the bottom left corner of the door and try to include all details in the photos. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and transport costs.
