Jeep CJ Spare Tire Carrier Plug and Bumper Kit 76-86 CJ7 CJ8 Scrambler

Description

This is a complete kit to replace the worn out or missing rubber bumpers and plastic end caps on your Jeep CJ7/CJ8/Scrambler rear swing tire carrier.  You will receive 4 rubber bumpers and 4 new plastic end caps. I also include
all replacement stainless steel hardware
including for the 2 lower bumpers (2 screws, 2 nuts and 2 washers) and the 2 top bumpers (2 sheet metal screws). That's correct,
stainless steel
. The bumpers have stainless steel washers already built in.  The end caps are two different sizes to accommodate the two different size square steel tubes on the tire carrier.  I have included example photos of the bumpers installed on my CJ7 so you can see how they look when installed.
*Note about the plastic end caps: Jeep was not exactly precise in their manufacturing back in the day and therefore you may find that some of the plastic end caps may not fit properly. Usually this can be remedied by using all of the smaller size or all of the larger size end caps.  If you should experience this, please contact me and I am more than willing to work with you and get you the size that works.
