    Description

INDIAN JOE with COPPER FEATHER in CANOE HAND CARVED FOLK ART WHIRLIGIG by VERMONT ARTIST R. SNOW... I am cleaning out my left over inventory of 20 +/- years ago when I was on a eastern/mid-west folk art circuit...These pieces have a teflon sleeve with brass hardware...Each piece was individually hand carved of native basswood and painted by me with exterior house paint...no two were ever alike...no resin castings here, just honest hand work... Indian Joe was a real Indian living near Danville Vermont, he was a Scout during the American Revolutionary War for both Colonel Jacob Bailey and Moses Hazen...Joe's Pond in Danville Vermont is named in his honor...Thank you for looking and please see my other listings.
