    Description

    Armed Confederate Ambrotype. This is a 9th plate ambrotype of a Confederate soldier.  The soldier is wearing what appears to be a issued battleshirt and has a nice belt.  On the belt is a wedged side-knife at his waist front.  The clothing may be from a Mississippi or Louisiana regiment. It is very nice condition with some areas around tge image od cloudiness but does not detract from the soldier.  It is very nice and the knife can be easily seen.  The image comes in a wood case and has been seperated at some point.  Rare image. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
