    Description

Up for auction is a 1962 Ruler for the Connellsville High School “Cokers” Football Team.
This 12-inch wooden hot-pink ruler was produced in 1962 compliments of Canada Dry Beverages and on the reverse contains the football schedule of the Connellsville Joint Senior High School football team.  The “Cokers” of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, played Scottdale, Washington, John A. Brashear, Jeannette, Greensburg-Salem, Hempfield Area, Latrobe, Uniontown and Vadergrift.  Connellsville High was famous for its former quarterback Johnny Lujack, the Heisman Trophy winner for Notre Dame and Chicago Bears quarterback.
The ruler measures 12 in. X 1 in. and is in very good condition.  There is a very slight overall bend in it and also slight paint wear to the ends.  Neither is a condition issue as far as I’m concerned, but I point it out for accuracy.
